FAQ for “Your Herbivore Chef” & “Herbivore Cooking School”

All bookings are subject to the chef’s availability. Requested dates and times are not guaranteed until confirmed.

All meals are prepared 100% vegan.
Requests for animal products of any kind (meat, dairy, eggs, seafood, etc.) will not be accommodated. Any such request will be denied.
Allergies & preferences can be accommodated when noted at time of booking.

Service pricing does not include the cost of groceries.
Grocery costs will be billed separately in addition to the service fee. (For “Your Herbivore Chef” ONLY. Groceries are included with all class fees.)
Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and confirm services.
The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of services.
Grocery costs (if applicable) will be billed separately and are due in full at the time of service.
Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, or cash.

For “Your Herbivore Chef”:
The chef provides menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, plating, service, and cleanup as part of the agreed package.
For “Herbivore Kitchen School”
The chef provides the all shopping, ingredients, menu, individualized instruction, and clean up as part of the agreed package.

Clients must disclose any food allergies or sensitivities at the time of booking. The chef is not liable for undisclosed allergies.
Clients must provide a clean and safe kitchen environment with a functioning stove, oven, fridge, basic pots and pans, tables and chairs for all guests, and all table-service items (silverware, water & wine glasses, plates, etc.).

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time. A $100 fee will apply for late cancellations.

For any bookings located more than 15 miles from Decatur, GA, a travel fee will apply. The fee is calculated at $1 per mile beyond the initial 15 miles. This charge covers additional time, transportation, and expenses associated with longer distances.
FAQ for “Heat & Eat” meals

Pick up is preferred. Pick up is in Decatur, GA.
Local delivery may be available on request for a fee. (Local=Atlanta Metro Area)
